I care more about the faces-in-crotches than the genital-heads. I think it is because I imagine those people kissing with the mouths on their protruding faces and it seems irrelevant what their huge, blind, brainless heads are doing. So many more senses on your face. Disorienting.
I think that image works for me with the idea that so many people actually think with their genitals. It makes sense that in place of the heads would be genitals…and perhaps the reverse, too…that what we do with our genitals…constructed as letting caution go and being spontaneious, is actually a lot more thinking and calculated…if I do this act will I be loved, appreciated, taken care of, notice?
